The Japan national team ZETA DIVISION won the first victory in the Valorant world tournament, but in the joint interview, XQQ The team is still complete 60-70%

The international competition Valorant Champions 2022 , which determines the annual champion of Valorant, is being held in Istanbul, Turkey.

In the first match, the Japanese national team ZETA Division , which defeated Brazilian national team LOUD and defeated, was the second race held on Sunday, September 4th, winning the final qualifying for the Apac. Boom Esports challenged the battle that survived.

◆ Looking back on the fierce battle

LOUD Zeta Division won in the Map Score 2-1 in the match that was included in the third map. After participating in the playoffs, I proceeded to the battle with Loud again.

BOOM Pick's 1st Map: In Haven, Defender Start ZETA drops the 1st round, but wins a good start to win the slipy with a stunning abilities in the following 2nd round. At one point, it succeeded in making a big difference from 11-6, but the situation changed from the timeout of BOOM, and carefully guided ZETA's attack point with skillful area control, and the reading BOOM overlap the round, and it was a reversal. You will drop the 1st map in 11-13.

Continued ZETA Pick 2nd Map: Pearl. The first pearl that ZETA shows uses a double controller of Omen and Viper. And the initiators have only Sky, and the champions, which are often found in fade, have a slightly special configuration.

Both ZETA and Boom showed a five-minute battle in local area control, abilities bargaining and gunfight, and ZETA, which started attacking, was an advantageous 8-4. After that, the momentum was reduced by the movement of BOOM's shaking attacks and area control, but eventually he won 13-11. In the final round, Laz played two kills in operators and three kills in headhunters, and Laz's B protection was shining.

The fate 3rd map is a fracture. In the previous LOUD match, ZETA is good at ZETA, and BOOM is a map of 13-3 in the previous OPTIC match.

It is not an exaggeration to say that the fracture is consistently said that it is ZETA's solo field, but it drops the first pistol round, but after that, he won 13-2 without giving up one round. I won the first victory in Champions in Map Score 2-1.

◆ Summary of joint interviews after winning the first match

-Haven was a very regrettable match, but where did you feel good at Boom?

Laz: The operators used by Jet BERSERX were amazing, and the arrangement of bleach was a little special and could not respond well. Still, I think the detailed cooperation was quick and good.

-I felt that the area control was successful in Pearl, but how did you actually play pearls in the official game?

SUGARZ3RO: It's no different from practice, so it's not particularly it was a tournament.

-I think the round of the pearl round score 11-11 has been the key to reversal, but what kind of story did you talk about just before that?

XQQ Coach: I don't remember what I spoke at that time. I think I was talking about continuing to use the content of A guardian that had been stuck before it was reversed.

-The XQQ coach was impressive at the end of Pearl, holding his head. What did he think at that time?

XQQ Coach: I don't know when this game was held, so I don't know when it was taken, but I think it was just taken to Boom after taking nine. The original prepared A set was not so much passed, and I was holding my head.

―― Laz's ACE in pearl was a symbolic scene in victory. How was your feelings and the reaction of the members when you took ACE?

Laz: I was convinced that this would be possible when I got 11. However, I have removed the operator and head hunters for about a few shots, so I think it was better. The reaction of the team was like I'm here!

-The weakening of chamber (price increase in headhunters, reduction of rendezvous, tool de Force's site) has been included. Looking at the performance of Laz players, it seems that it does not have much effect when you look at the performance of Laz, but how do you evaluate the current chamber performance as a chamber?

Laz: The rise in the price of headhunters and the reduction of rendezvous are likely to affect many players. Personally, the head hunter does not fire continuously, so the feeling of use does not change. Rendezvous, of course, does not go as before, but I think it can be used well even though it is narrow. Also, I think it is still strong when using an operator. If you use a rifle, you don't have to be a chamber.

-Tennn is a short practice period, while there is a blank, how was it? Also, from a perspective, how much performance you can do now?

Tennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnidage: It was not mentioned in Valorant for a month, and the practice period was only about a week, so it was very difficult to fight a strong team in that state. I think the performance is only about 50-60%.

――I also mentioned that in distribution, etc., we are trying to release the distance between the monitor and the eyes. Did you have an effect?

Tennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnch: The distance between the original monitor and the eyes is 13cm, and now it is about 27cm. It is quite difficult to do because the enemy's appearance is different by leaving the monitor.

-I got the impression that the tone was up as the map was overlaid, but how was it actually playing?

Laz: As you can see, the game is gradually improving by repeating the game. In the pearl, it was quite spicy, but I was able to rewind to the end and felt like this came!

CROW: That's right. Because I had experience in Iceland, I felt that I could still win at all, and I felt that I could not go in any situation.

―― Loud is a rematch, but where do you think there is something you need to look back on the previous battle and improve it?

XQQ Coach: In the previous LOUD match, the mistakes on the micro side were quite noticeable, and it was a very regrettable match as a result. I'm going to make a good correction, and then make a rematch and try to fight.

――In Stage1 Masters, it was in the best three, but in order to reproduce that pleasant advance, what is the perfection of the current team compared to the previous STAGE1?

XQQ Coach: I think it's about 60-70%compared to Stage1 Masters. I think the reason is that the current low preparation period is short and that the configuration that matches the meta is not available on all maps as in Stage1 Masters. However, the tournament is a place where you can absorb it very much, so if you keep fighting as it is, I think that you will win more like Stage1 Masters.

The XQQ coach was still talking about 60-70%of the team, but how far can ZETA Division, which grows in the fight, from difficult situations? Let's look forward to the ZETA challenge crawling up from the roller. The revenge match against LOUD will start at 2:00 am on Thursday, September 8th.
